Annual meeting of the Codi projects in India (November 17, 2009)(25/11/2009)

From July 5 to November 8, 2009, annual meeting of the Codi project was held in the city of Hubli, Karnataka, India. The participants are leaders in the points of the project area.From Viet nam, Dr Dao The Anh , CASRAD director , project manager in charge of operation of the project in two areas ,Hai Duong and Bac Kan. Dr Bui Quang Dang ,representative of  FAVRI – which is reponsible for the operation of two points of project in Thua Thien Hue and Hanoi, with two other officers who are in charge of monitoring and evaluating the participatory project

Project Director - Dr. Hannah Jaenicke presided the meeting . The meeting was reviewing the activities done in the first year, the experience of the individual infered through specific activities of the project. Same time, the meeting also proposed working plan for the next year, the work must be implemented and completed in accordance with the time as the project requires. Vietnam delegations is appreciated to have completed very well the requirements of the project such as: building the processing zone in Hai Duong, building technical process for crops cultivation which are objectives of the project, training technical skills, nursery management, mornitoring activities and investigating facilities for the purpose of evaluating the impact of the completed project, the information entered and managed by software CSPRO and has begun data analysis ..... The following year, through mass media, the objectives of project aim at assisting farmers to participate in the market and promote products, especially the plants which are not exploited much .the second annual meeting of the project is expected to be held in Hue, Vietnam.
